15 Reasons to Study Abroad

Studying abroad is a major ambition of many Pakistani students. Over the years we at FES have accumulated valuable experience which has allowed us to facilitate the ambitions of a lot of our clients. A lot of the time many students do not know the value or many of the advantages behind the ambition of studying abroad.

  1. CV enhancement

Experience of studying and living internationally bodes well with employers. Exhibiting you have experience in dealing with different cultures and diverse groups. This shows a higher level of adaptability on your part.

Living abroad will enable you to brush up on your English and if you are in a non-english speaking country then it will also give you the chance to learn the local language. The ability to gain confidence in speaking a new language and the ability to gain experience of speaking and writing in English will enable you land better jobs.

When you go on holiday you are bound to look for ways to enjoy yourselves. You are bound to look for sights and sounds of the area. You won’t mind getting ripped off once in a while, or paying an expensive cup of coffee. When you actually shift to another country and live there for a while, you are bound to look for ways to make things more comfortable, more affordable. You will learn how to manage a lot of variables in life. You will learn how to manage a home, your budgeting skills are going to be sharpened. At an early stage of your life you will be able to learn how to set priorities. What not to buy, when to spend, where to shop and what sort of things to eat. These are the sort of decisions adults make in a daily life with regards to their income. This is something you as a student living abroad will have to learn at an early age. You will be able to learn all this through real life experiences and choices. Do not underestimate the power of experiences. These experiences are going to groom your communication, financial and survival skills. You’ll actually get to experience your place of study in the long term, picking up local knowledge such as where sells the best coffee, what tourist traps to avoid and how to get the most out of your new city.
